Travelers planning to fly out of San Jose /Mineta International Airport today are asked to arrive at least 2 hours before their flights are scheduled to take off. That after a ruptured water line shut down Terminal A. All airlines that operate out of Terminal A are impacted. Those airlines are: American, All Nippon Airways, Delta, JetBlue, United, U.S. Airways, Virgin America and Volaris. Passengers can check in at airline counters, and then will be taken to Terminal B on shuttle buses for security screening. The water line broke at 2:15 a.m. in the “skybridge” area of the terminal, which connects the parking garage to the security area. The flow of water had been stopped as of 4:15 a.m., and crews are working to clean up and repair the area.
Luggage pickups have been moved to Terminal B for arriving passengers.
