A man pleaded guilty yesterday to his eighth DUI charge, after he was convicted on felony charges for crashing his vehicle with his 8-year old daughter in the car earlier this year. 49-year old Rafael Ramirez Hernandez had a blood alcohol content level of 0.24%, over three times the legal limit, when he lost control of his vehicle on April 27th and crashed down an embankment of Varni Road. Hernandez faces a maximum sentence of six years and eight months in jail, and is slated to be sentenced next month.
