A King City High School History teacher and wrestling coach has been arrested on suspicion of beating up a 15-year old student. According to Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies, the student and a 15-year old female family member of 45-year old Michael Ciccarelli are both on the wrestling team and are dating, when the two were absent from wrestling practice on November 21st. Ciccarelli discovered the two in a compromising position when he went to the boy’s home and broke down the door to the teen’s bedroom before punching and kicking the boy in the face. The boy suffered a broken nose. The incident was reported the following day and Ciccarelli was arrested after an arrest warrant was served.
