Nine people have been arrested on the Central Coast in a week long burglary sting. The operation was an effort to crackdown on the recent rise in home burglaries on the Monterey Peninsula. Robert David Manni of Monterey, Santa Cruz Resident Talia D’Amato, Robert Townsend of Seaside and Carmel Valley Resident Tyler Heron were arrested last Thursday. The next day Police arrested Monterey resident Alison Davi and Marcus Colello of Carmel followed by Monterey residents Jeffery Herling and Michael Perkuhn later that evening. Two days ago Edward Moody of Salinas was also arrested. Police say the common denominator with all the arrests were drugs. The recovered property, which included jewelry, electronics and a high-end bicycle, was valued up to $20,000.
