Santa Cruz Mayor Hilary Bryant was featured in the Huffington Post this week for her CEO Surf Challenge she made at a recent tech conference. Bryant told the Huffington Post the reason behind the challenge was to draw more Silicon Valley tech companies to the Santa Cruz Coast. The mayor shared her vision at Civinomicon, a government and technology innovation conference held last weekend, where she expressed the many advantages to setting up shop in Santa Cruz, including close proximity to the valley, a growing tech community and a top university.
