The City of Watsonville has plans to improve safety and traffic flow at a busy intersection. City staff held a public meeting last night at Starlight Elementary School, where they explained how a roundabout would replace the four-way stop at Clifford Avenue and Pennsylvania Drive. Residents met the plan with unanimous support. The 4-way intersection connects to 2 main arteries of the city, Green Valley Road and Freedom Boulevard, and is located near multiple apartment complexes and schools. Council members will consider the proposal on December 10th. Work would begin next summer.
