No one was arrested after A 24-year old man was shot last night in Salinas. Police say the 7 p.m. incident occurred on Cortez Street near Mae Avenue when two men were sitting in a car, when shots were fired through the driver’s side door striking one of the men in the leg. A gold Honda was seen driving away on Cortez Street towards Towt Street. The victim was air lifted to an area trauma center with non-life threatening injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
