Three armed suspects were arrested shortly after a Carmel Jewelry store was robbed this morning. The incident occurred at La Renaissance Jewelry at Ocean Avenue and Dolores Street just before 11:30 a.m. Witnesses reported seeing three Hispanic male suspects flee the scene in an alleged turquoise Chevy Blazer. Police were able to track the vehicle off Highway 1 onto Imjin Parkway, where they conducted a traffic stop and discovered the store’s stolen jewelry along with a handgun.
