Dozens of neglected dogs and puppies have been rescued out of a Soledad home. Numerous complaints caused the Monterey County SPCA to serve a search warrant to the Ticino Street home where 21 dogs were rescued Saturday while an additional 9 were rescued yesterday. Investigators say the home is completely unlivable not only for dogs but also for humans, and believe one more dog still remains inside of the home. The SPCA says it is moving forward with a criminal case after all the animals were found with some sort of skin infection or were infested with fleas.
