A 35-year old Watsonville man charged with a 2012 murder and attempted murder, was sentenced to 60-years to life in prison last week. Michael Neal Miller was convicted for the murder of Dominic Mower and the attempted murder of Candy McCullough. The charges stem back to July 25th when Miller shot and killed Mower on Prospect Street in Watsonville over money owed in a drug a deal. McCullough was also beaten and shot in the head, but survived the incident. Miller was arrested the next day on suspicion of murder and other charges.
