ABOUT 75-100 SANTA CRUZ HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WALKED OUT OF SCHOOL AT 9:45 THIS MORNING. THEY THEN MARCHED TO THE CLOCK TOWER IN SANTA CRUZ, TO EXPRESS SOLIDARITY WITH THEIR TEACHERS (WHO ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITHOUT A CONTRACT). THE STUDENTS RETURNED TO CAMPUS AROUND 10:40 A-M. PRINCIPAL KAREN EDMONDS SAYS THE SCHOOL IS PROVIDING AN OPEN MIC FOR STUDENTS DURING BREAKS AND LUNCHTIME.
