caltrans has announced a road closure in monterey on saturday the 21st. the closure is due to guardrail replacement, slated for the junction, of highways 1 and 68. the work is to take place between the hours of 6 a-m and 2 p-m. a detour will be posted and the c-h-p will be providing traffic control. motorist should expect delays of 15 minutes.
