DOZENS OF CATS WERE RESCUED OUT OF A GREENFIELD HOUSE YESTERDAY. OFFICIALS WITH THE MONTEREY COUNTY SPCA SAY OVER 30 CATS WERE FOUND IN THE HOME ON SIXTH STREET UNDERWEIGHT AND SUFFERING FROM UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS AND EAR MITES. THE CASE IS EXPECTED TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE MONTEREY COUNTY D-A’S OFFICE FOR POSSIBLE PROSECUTION OF ANIMAL ABUSE.
