a report of a family disturbance ended with the arrest of a watsonville woman. the incident happened on the 5 hundred block of rogriguez street around 3:15 p-m on friday. police officers arrived on the scene and tried to remove the resident that was causing the disturbance. the suspect, a 57 year old woman then grabbed a butcher knife and menaced the officers with the weapon, until officers disarmed and subdued. the suspect, was arrested and booked into santa cruz county jail on assaultin a peace officer with a deadly weapon.
