a steer being used in AN event at the california rodeo died in what is being described as a freak accident. the accident happened at the salinas sports complex during a STEER wrestling COMPETITION. according to reports, the steer collided with the horse and RIDER AND suffered a broken neck. a VETERINARIAN was on scene, but the animal died before being transported out of the complex.
