THE CAUSE OF A DEADLY HOUSE FIRE THIS MORNING, THAT APPEARED TO HAVE BEGUN IN AN EMPTY BEDROOM OF THE APTOS HOME IS BEING INVESTIGATED. A WOMAN AND HER DOG WERE RESCUED FROM THE HOME ON THE 34 HUNDRED BLOCK OF VIENNA DRIVE, HOWEVER, A MAN WAS REPORTEDLY DECLARED DEAD AT THE SCENE OF THE 3 A-M BLAZE.
ALTHOUGH THE MAN COULD NOT BE REVIVED, FIREFIGHTERS WERE ABLE TO USE C.P.R. TO GET THE DOG BREATHING AGAIN.
THE HOUSE REPORTEDLY HAD 3 SMOKE DETECTORS, BUT THE BATTERIES HAD BEEN PULLED OUT OF 2 OF THEM, AND THE 3RD DID NOT APPEAR TO WORK.
