A BODY WAS PULLED FROM THE WATERS IN MONTEREY BAY THURSDAY EVENING. THE SANTA CRUZ HARBOR PATROL PULLED THE MIDDLE AGED MAN (WHO WAS ABOUT A HALF MILE FROM SHORE) FROM THE WATER AROUND 7 P-M. A GROUP OF PEOPLE IN A SAILBOAT DISCOVERED A BODY, FLOATING FACE DOWN. THE CAUSE OF DEATH IS BEING INVESTIGATED AND AUTHORITIES DO NOT THINK FOUL PLAY WAS INVOLVED. IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE BODY HAD BEEN IN THE WATER FOR LESS THAN 5 HOURS.
