An exhibit chronicling the Homeless Garden Project is open at the Rittenhouse building on Church street in downtown Santa Cruz. The exhibit of (12 black and white PHOTOGRAPHS) portrays the work of some of the volunteers, at the project. The photos were taken by local photographer Jon Kersey over the past 10 years. The homeless garden project began in 1990 and has been at its current location, a 3 acre plot of land near natural bridges state park since 1994. The project receives the support of almost 15 hundred volunteers annually.
