An s-u-v crashed into a house in carmel this morning (Tues), but nobody was seriously injured. Firefighters and paramedics from cal-fire and cypress fire protection district responded to the call just before 10 a.m., after the vehicle crashed into a support pillar at a house on outlook drive. The driver sustained minor injuries, and declined medical treatment. Nobody at (or in) the house was injured. Monterey county building inspectors were called to make sure the house was not at risk of collapsing. C-H-P investigators are trying to determine what caused the driver to lose control.
