A wanted felon who evaded Watsonville Police on Wednesday was finally arrested Friday night. 29-year-old Bernard Gomez fled from police in an allegedly stolen car with drugs, a loaded gun and stolen checks and ID’s on Wednesday. Gomez was discovered at a trailer park on the 100 block of Holm Road by Watsonville Police and the counties Gang Task Force. He was in the company of another wanted felon, Erin Boetzer. As officers approached two cars parked outside of a nearby home, the suspects fled out the back. Gomez was arrested, but Boetzer is still on the run. In the cars deputies found drugs, handguns, bold cutters, gloves, two way radios, $1,700 cash and stolen items.
