3-men pleaded not guilty monday to murdering a 21-year-old man in aptos. 20-year-old Rafael Zamora barron, 21-year-old afred alanis Garcia, and 20-year-old Christopher Herrera Bermudez entered their pleas today in a santa cruz county courtroom, more than a month after the may 30th shooting death of Fernando martin Mendoza-avila. Mendoza-avila was gunned down on the freedom boulevard overpass of highway-1. the 3-suspects are set to return to court on july 31st to schedule a date for a preliminary hearing.
