A NATIONALLY RENOWNED LOCAL POET HAS DIED. 57 YEAR-OLD WATSONVILLE NATIVE JEFF TAGAMI, WHO TAUGHT LITERATURE AND WRITING FOR 20 YEARS AT CABRILLO COLLEGE, AND LECTURED AT U.C.S.C., SUCCUMBED TO PANCREATIC CANCER. THE 1972 GRADUATE OF WATSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, SONS, PARENTS, AND SIBLINGS….AS WELL AS NUMEROUS NIECES AND NEPHEWS. THE SERVICES FOR JEFF TAGAMI WILL BE PRIVATE.
