A court date has been rescheduled for the man accused of murdering a santa cruz businesswoman last month. 43-year-old charles Anthony Edwards was expected to have a date set for a preliminary hearing at his appearance Monday, however the hearing was moved to august 13th so that attorneys could have more time to examine evidence. Edwards is accused of stabbing 38-year-old Shannon Collins to death on may 7th, as Collins walked on santa cruz’s broadway avenue.
