Firefighters from cal-fire and santa cruz fire responded to a mobile home fire in the live oak area of santa cruz county thursday. Nobody was home when the 3 p.m. fire broke out at the 38th avenue mobile home park. firefighters were able to enter the burning mobile home and target the blaze where it had started—at the stove. Food that was left on the stove is believed to be the cause of the 3 p.m. fire. no injuries were reported.
