A wanted sex offender was arrested this past Friday in north monterey county. watsonville resident Ellis Wilson was wanted by authorities for failing to register as a sex offender. He was taken into custody by monterey county sheriff’s deputies for that charge, as well as violation of a protective order, possession of a stolen vehicle, and domestic violence. Wilson was booked into monterey county jail.
