Santa Cruz police arrested a man Sunday evening in San Lorenzo Park on suspicion of being drunk in public. A park-goer notified a police officer that a naked man was causing a disturbance near the bathrooms. The officer discovered 46-year-old David Torrell standing near the bathroom naked, carrying some clothing and tools. Torrell, who is described as a transient, is said to have smelled like alcohol and was displaying characteristics consistent with intoxication.
