Two men were arrested in Gonzales last night for possession of methamphetamine and outstanding warrants. Monterey County Sherriff’s deputies pulled over 44-year-old Casey Panziera and 47-year-old Michael Panziera as part of an ongoing theft investigation. Casey Panziera was the driver, and when police stopped the vehicle, the man had an open beer container and admitted to drinking while driving. He was also found to be in possession of 1.5 grams of methamphetamine. Michael Panziera had four warrants for his arrest, totally nearly $25,000. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men were arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail.
