A 34-year-old wanted gang member was arrested in salinas on Sunday. Robery lopez was wanted on an outstanding warrant for charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm. After a brief standoff at his residence on the 7-hundred block of saint charles way, salinas police officers made contact with lopez on his cellphone and convinced him to surrender. He was booked into monterey county jail on the outstanding warrant.
