a watsonville man who was shot several times monday night is expected to survive. the 19 year old victim was walking to an apartment on clifford avenue around 10:40 p.m. monday night. the man was approached by 2 rival gang members before one of the men shot the victim several times in the torso. the victim is recovering in a bay area trauma center. anyone who might have information on this monday night gang shooting is asked to contact the anonymous crime tip line, at 768-3544.
