Police in Watsonville have ended the investigation into the death of a 21-year-old man, after determining that he was the aggressor. Brandon gil was stabbed to death outside of a bar on main street on march 31st. gil had been involved in a fight with frank Garcia; Garcia delivered the fatal stab wounds, however investigators believe that he was defending himself, and that gil had started the fight. No charges will be filed against Garcia. Brandon gil was found near the scene, on brennan street and east lake avenue. he was taken to Watsonville community hospital where he was pronounced dead.
