Racers started crossing the stage-2 finish line of the amgen tour of California monday at about 4:20 p.m. 22-year-old peter sagan finished stage 2 1st, and maintained his overall lead in the race. Watsonville resident andy jaques-maynes is in 6th overall. The stage-2 finish line was in front of cabrillo college in aptos.
