A fire broke out at a king city house early saturday morning. firefighters responded to the house on vista place and pine canyon road at 6 a.m. The occupants were able to evacuate thanks to a smoke detector. The blaze was extinguished after the flames had damaged 2-rooms, the attic, and beneath the floors. The cause is under investigation.
