A woman was rescued on Saturday, after breaking her ankle hiking in big sur. The woman was hiking near garrapata ridge when she was injured. She was aided by emergency responders from cal-fire, carmel highlands fire protection district, and the monterey county sheriff’s office search and rescue team. The victim was later air lifted out of the area.
