3 teenagers were arrested after being involved in a hit and run of a bicyclist in santa cruz yesterday(Sun) afternoon. a group of teens was driving on water street, when they struck a 35-year old man riding his bicycle. The victim was airlifted to an out-of-county trauma center with non-life threatening injuries. the teens continued driving and struck parked cars near catalpa street, before attempting to flee on foot. 2 were apprehended by santa cruz police officers while 1 suspect was detained by a witness. Officers are investigating if there were any other people in the vehicle (besides the 3). That vehicle was determined to be stolen.
