Faculty members at c-s-u monterey bay are joining C-S-U employees around the state this week, in voting for whether to strike or not. Voting began today, and is scheduled to continue through Thursday. Faculty at all 23 cal-state campuses are taking part in the voting. authorization would not mean an immediate strike, but it would give leaders of the California faculty association the power to call for a strike, if negotiations fail to produce a deal that members consider acceptable.
