A 26-year-year-old woman is facing drug possession and other charges, after being arrested early Sunday morning. aumi autumn cruz was already wanted for 2-outstanding warrants from santa clara county. she was taken into custody by santa cruz county sheriff’s deputies, after she was pulled over on highway-1 (near Morrissey boulevard) for a vehicle code violation. Cruz was arrested for felony drug possession, and misdemeanor being under the influence. She is also facing a felony charge of bringing drugs into jail, because she allegedly tried to conceal methamphetamine during her booking into santa cruz county jail. A passenger in the vehicle, Edward kurrle, was also arrested on suspicion of being under the influence.
