a san jose middle school teacher has been appointed to the gavilan college school board. jonathan brusco was chosen to fill the vacancy left by the recent death of trustee mike davenport, who died on march 2nd. brusco teaches 7th grade history, and has worked as a philosophy professor and graduate assistant at san jose state university. brusco said he plans to run for re-election when the term is up in november.
