Salinas police are investigating a shooting that was reported this afternoon. 6-people were detained by officers, however they were determined to not have been involved. according to the salinas police department watch commander, the reporting party said someone shot out of a white chevy malibu, at someone on north sanborn road and del monte avenue. No injuries were reported in the incident, however the victim fled and was not located.
