A fire that broke out at a felton house on Saturday night is believed to have been sparked by a marijuana growing operation. The blaze erupted in the basement of a house on upper scenic drive. 1-person that was inside was able to escape without injury. The resident told authorities that the marijuana was being grown legally, however that was not confirmed. The exact cause is under investigation, however the fire is thought to have been sparked by faulty wiring. The house suffered severe smoke damage, as well as some broken windows.
