10-children received bicycles on Saturday, thanks to the efforts of a santa cruz business. The owners of “The Bike Dojo,” (in downtown santa cruz), started a non-profit effort to donate bikes to children that did not have a bike. To mark the first anniversary of “The Bike Dojo,” owners kim and rob mylls held an event on Saturday to give away the free bikes. Santa Cruz mayor Don Lane proclaimed march 24th “Project B.I.K.E. Day.” Bike stands for “Believe in Kids’ Exercise.”
