The body of a woman found Thursday morning was identified as that of a missing gilroy mother, who has been missing since last Tuesday, march 13th. the body of 52-year-old Martha Gutierrez was found by local residents, near the intersection of highways-156 and 152, about half way between Hollister and Gilroy (near Casa de Fruta). she is believed to have been shot by her son, 27-year-old abel Gutierrez, whom then shot and killed his 11-year-old sister, and then himself. The incident is now being investigated as a double-murder suicide.
