Salinas police officers arrested 2-men monday afternoon on weapons charges. 20-year-old edgar Gomez and 21-year-old Christopher Ruiz were contacted by officers outside of a residence on Julia avenue. They were allegedly found to be in possession of 3 stolen handguns. Both men are facing several charges along with gang enhancements. They were booked into monterey county jail.
