A fire broke out early Saturday morning in the electrical room at monterey’s Golden State Theater. The flames were contained to the electrical room, thanks to a melted water line, which stopped the blaze from spreading. Monterey firefighters responded to the theater on Alvarado Street just after midnight, and ended up doing mostly smoke removal and other cleanup. services for monterey church were moved to the monterey conference center.
