dozens of salinas residents turned out yesterday to run with the bulls. pit bulls that is, as the save-a-bull event was held to help fight the bad reputation the breed often gets. pit bull supporters marched with their dogs from south main street to the national steinbeck center and back. the march was organized after the breed came under fire following a number of violent attacks in salinas.
