No arrests were made sunday afternoon, when authorities raided a cockfight that was taking place in monterey county. The rooster fight was taking place at a property on fuji lane, (south of salinas). Several roosters were turned over to the S-P-C-A for monterey county. other birds were found dead. Monterey county sheriff’s deputies raided the fight after receiving an anonymous tip. Dozens of people fled, but nobody was taken into custody.
