A 26-year-old man was arrested in salinas early Saturday morning, after leading Salinas police officers on a high-speed chase. Officers tried to pull over Bradley birnbaum near constitution boulevard and east laurel drive, but officers reported that he wouldn’t stop. Birnbaum entered highway-101 at west laurel drive, and stopped near the on-ramp. He refused to cooperate, and police say he challenged officers to shoot him. Officers tazed Birnbaum, and he was booked into Monterey county jail on multiple charges.
