a man accused of killing a hollister woman in 2007 has claimed mental INCOMPETENCE. travis hoffmeister was arrested in march of 2008, after dna evidence connected him to the murder of 20 year old christella macias. a trial for hoffmeister has been scheduled for february 27th, but he has made a motion arguing he is mentally incompetent to continue with the proceedings. he is due in court on february 23rd, following a medical reccomendation.
