Another sighting of a mountain lion has been reported in the santa cruz area. it’s the 2nd sighting of a mountain lion in the last week. At about noon yesterday, a jogger on chinquapin road, (near ucsc), spotted the big cat just off of the road. The mountain lion was not reportedly aggressive. UCSC police alerted students about the sighting through the department’s cruz-alert system. Last Tuesday, a mountain lion was reported in pogonip park, near the spring street entrance.
