SANTA CRUZ SENTINEL COLUMNIST WALLY TRABING, AND FORMER SENTINEL REPORTER KEVIN BUEY HAVE PASSED AWAY.
TRABING, WHO WORKED AT THE SENTINEL FOR MORE THAN 40 YEARS, DIED FRIDAY IN HIS SANTA CRUZ HOME. HE WAS 90 YEARS-OLD.
BUEY, WHO WAS A LONGTIME SENTINEL NEWSMAN, HAD MOVED OUT OF STATE AND WORKED AT SEVERAL OTHER NEWSPAPERS….WAS FOUND DEAD IN HIS HOME LAST THURSDAY MORNING. HE HAD BEEN ON MEDICAL LEAVE (AFTER A MEDICAL PROCEDURE THAT WAS PERFORMED LAST SEPTEMBER).
SERVICES FOR WALLY TRABING ARE SCHEDULED TO BEGIN AT 2 P.M. JANUARY 28TH AT THE FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH ON HIGH STREET IN SANTA CRUZ.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR 65 YEAR-OLD KEVIN BUEY WILL BE HANDLED BY BACA FUNERAL CHAPELS.
