a new charge of robbery is expected to be added to murder allegations against a capitola man accused of killing a paramedic student. 23 year old marcos chavez was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of killing 36 year old aaron carpenter. a knife and a clothing iron are thought to be used as deadly weapons in the murder. chavez’s attorney is expected to appear in court today to ask for a delay in entering a plea.
